HTPG’s New Quantum Air Remote Air Cooled Condensers - Sept. 1, 2016
HTPG Announces Quantum Air™ Remote Air Cooled Condensers
Duluth, GA – September 1, 2016 – Heat Transfer Products Group, LLC (HTPG), manufacturer of commercial refrigeration equipment sold under the recognized brands of Russell, Witt, Kramer and ColdZone, announces the new Quantum Air™ Remote Air Cooled Condensers. Contractors will appreciate that these models are easier to set up and service and feature an environmentally friendly design that decreases installation labor and energy costs. Designed with California Title 24 regulatory compliance in mind, Quantum Air models are available with 1 to 14 fans, with single and double fan width models in either vertical or horizontal air flow configurations.
“HTPG’s family of Air Cooled Condensers are mainstays in the supermarket, industrial cooling and commercial warehousing industries. They’re known for their durability and efficiency. With the Quantum Air line, our engineering team has built upon the success of these legacy models to further improve on energy savings, performance, ease of installation and serviceability. There is a wave of excitement building in the marketplace around these enhanced products,” said Paul Westbrook, HTPG’s director of sales and marketing.
Quantum Air Remote Air Cooled Condensers are specifically designed to be easier to set up and service. The heavy duty lifting eyes and innovative hinged leg design makes installation much quicker. The standard fan panels are hinged for easy access for coil cleaning and fan or motor service. Motors are conveniently stud mounted on rigid rails for increased stability and ease of service. The built-in LED lighting brightly illuminates the large electrical control panels for a clear view of individually labeled wires, controls and the door mounted wiring diagram for servicing during dark or low light service calls.
The condenser’s new design improves performance and uses less refrigerant for cost savings. Models with one to four fans in length have 3/8” copper tubing mechanically expanded into aluminum fins, and all Quantum Air models feature a floating coil design that eliminates potential damage from operational vibrations. All-weather, galvanized steel painted housing along with vinyl coated heavy gauge steel fan guards protect the units from the elements.
The swept wing fan blades not only increase airflow efficiency but generate less noise. Quantum Air’s condenser sound output is lower overall — as much as 8 dBA on some units — when compared to the legacy air cooled condenser family. The new models are also quieter than comparable air cooled condensers in the marketplace.
Quantum Air Remote Air Cooled Condensers include the previously mentioned innovations and features along with premium standard features like inverter duty motors with thermal overload protection, fully baffled fan modules, and thru-the-door non-fused disconnect switch as standard. The models are UL and cUL listed for outdoor use. Additional options are available: Head pressure controls, multi-circuited coils, fin coatings and materials, fin spacing, extended leg height, variable frequency drives, enclosed motors, multiple refrigerants, and more.
